The Summer Universiade 09 take place in Belgrade, Serbia between July 1st and July1 2th of this year. More than 9000 athletes from over 140 countries have compete in 15 sports and 203 disciplines at more than 50 sports venues. To provide the best possible sound reinforcement for the 13 sport venues, Studio Berar have used a different JBL loudspeaker systems.

A total of 16 JBL VerTec 4889, 12 JBL VerTec 4888 DP, 32 JBL VRX600W and 16 VRX918 JBL sub, all powered with Crown CT3000 aplifiers. Also, 86 pcs of JBL self-powered EON 315 speakers have been used to provide sound for smaller soccer courts and basketball halls.
