Studio Berar delivered and performed complete installation of the latest generation lighting system for a theater hall of the Cultural Institution Palilula, Belgrade. Delivered solution fully meets the theater needs for the professional lighting system which includes several fixture models, dimming unit and control system. The entire equipment was supplied by renowned manufacturers with whom Studio Berar has long standing cooperation's many years backwards, providing their customers a full support at any moment.

Lighting units that are used for the main lighting are provided by ETC whose solutions are characterized by an extremely easy handling, easy application and quick replacement of HPL bulbs, which, when compared to conventional light bulbs, offer effective 25% to 40% energy savings. Supplied models are of Source Four family fixtures, models; Zoom Profile angulation 15-30 ° degrees, then Junior Zoom using HPL575W bulb and a 25-50° angulation, as well as Source Four Fresnel fixtures, which has variable angulation in the range of 20 to 65 ° degrees.

ETC Source Four PAR fixtures in standard ETC package include four interchangeable lenses, whose simple replacement changes the width of the beam, instead of replacing light bulbs, which was the case with traditional PARs. These models can also use different power HPL bulbs (575W or 750W), provide brightness as conventional 1000W bulbs, thus enabling savings in electricity up to 40%.

The price of the HPL bulb is much more favorable comparing to conventional halogen bulbs, while providing significant energy savings. HPL bulb is produced by all the leading manufacturers (Philips, Osram, GE and Ushio), and has different life cycle varying from 300 to over 1500h, while the color temperature varying between 3050 and 3200K, making HPL bulbs a truly ideal choice.

Cyclorama fixtures are manufactured by DeSisti Lighting, whose GIOTTO model uses classical R7s 1000W bulb. Their revolutionary design provides an asymmetrical distribution offering the widest, cleanest lighting field, while it can evenly light large, hard or soft cycloramas, including corners.

Follow spot fixtures are done by American supplier LYCIAN, model 1250KB, being currently the strongest halogen follow spot worldwide. Beam angulation ranges from 4.3 to 10.3 ° and uses Hi-Brite 1200W, 80V Phillips bulb.

Dimming units are wall-mounted models ETC SmartPack 12ch that provide a choice of different dimming curves, while the power of each dimming channel is 2.3kW. Installation has a total of 96 dimming lines, and wall-mounted remote controller with a choice of up to 10 presets.

Lighting system control and management are enabled via ETC light controlling desk Element 60-500ch with 60-faders, based on the award-winning Eos software. The element console features two independent DMX outputs, maximum of 300 submasters, and the Ethernet protocol, with remote control support management for DeCt phone, iPhone / iPhone / iPod devices, and phones based on Android platform. The Element control desk is very user friendly, easy to use and provides quick and easy control of the entire lighting system, while the graphical function is displayed over two monitors.

Aluminum construction is provided by the Italian manufacturer LITEC. The 15m segments are made up of 5x3m long elements and are used to set up (hang) spotlights and stage elements. For an easier and more efficient access to Truss, Chain Master's electric motors are mounted in D8 standard. A load capacity of each individual engine installed is 1,000 kg, while the management is achieved through the 4-channel control.

Stage curtains are of Belgian supplier Show Tex, model Molton. Curtains are cotton, black and opaque, and are placed on the front portal, on sides and on the back, complying with the highest European fire safety standard.

After completing the installation and the system start-up, Studio Berar expert team completed a full training of technical staff who will be operating it.
